Construction Estimator Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced, organized, and motivated Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for estimating projects, preparing competitive bids, managing projects from award through completion, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and field crews.

The ideal candidate has strong construction knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while keeping schedules, budgets, and customers on track.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project documents
• Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates and bids
• Perform material and labor takeoffs
• Obtain and compare vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Communicate with customers, general contractors, architects, vendors, and subcontractors
• Coordinate projects from contract award through completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Track project costs, budgets, change orders, and profitability
• Prepare and submit change orders and purchase orders
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, manpower, and field crews
• Conduct project meetings and jobsite visits as needed
• Identify potential project issues and develop solutions
• Review project progress and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications
• Maintain accurate project documentation
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Assist with resolving customer and field issues
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and construction partners

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction estimating and/or project management experience preferred
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor requirements
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
