Material Handler / Electrical Helper – Entry Level - GMEA Electrical Services LLC

Pay: $18–$20/hour
Location: Katy, TX
Project: Large Commercial Retail Construction Project
Overtime:Yes

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Material Handler / Electrical Helper to join our team on a large commercial retail construction project in Katy, Texas. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in getting started in the electrical field.

No previous electrical experience is required. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes direction well, works hard, and has a proven track record of showing up on time and ready to work.

What You’ll Do:
  • Organize, stage, and maintain electrical materials and supplies
  • Help keep materials and work areas organized and ready for the electrical crew
  • Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and distributing materials
  • Help the electrical team with day-to-day tasks and general jobsite needs
  • Identify and organize various electrical products and supplies
  • Maintain an organized and efficient material area
  • Follow instructions and safety procedures
  • Be a reliable right-hand person for the project and electrical team
What We’re Looking For:
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Eager to learn and interested in pursuing a career in the electrical field
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Able to lift and move materials as needed
  • Organized, attentive to detail, and willing to take direction
  • Familiarity with electrical products or construction materials is a plus, but not required
  • Previous electrical experience is not required
