Facilities Custodian

The Facilities Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of office buildings and industrial sites. This individual works primarily as an individual contributor on the day shift, ensuring that all areas are sanitary, organized, and well-maintained using standard and power cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and maintenance across facilities
• Thorough cleaning of offices, breakroom, and restrooms
• Sanitize restrooms to maintain hygiene standards
• Manage groundskeeping tasks to preserve exterior appearance
• Replenish supplies to ensure availability at all times
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop, scrub common areas (not industrial areas)
• Perform painting and power washing equipment.
• Sweeping of industrial areas daily.
• Comfortable with light lifting and furniture moving as needed for cleaning tasks.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of janitorial techniques
• Proficiency with cleaning equipment and power cleaning machines
• Understanding of safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail
