Pay: $35.00 – $45.00/hr (based on experience)
PM Tech Range: $25.00 – $35.00/hr (1–2 years experience)

Overview

We’re looking for a Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Truck Technician who can do real diagnostic work electrical, emissions, and complex troubleshooting, not just basic repairs.

This shop stays busy year-round and supports a strong maintenance operation focused on keeping diesel equipment and transport trucks on the road.

Available Shifts (Multiple Options)

• Sun–Wed: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Wed–Sat: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Mon–Fri (Day Shift): 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Afternoons: 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Perform advanced diesel diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Work on Cummins, Detroit, CAT, PACCAR engines
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Repair and maintain brakes, suspension, steering, tires, A/C, and transmissions
• Service emissions systems (DPF, DEF, SCR aftertreatment)
• Complete preventive maintenance inspections
• Use OEM diagnostic software and scan tools
• Document repairs accurately and completely

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years diesel technician experience
• Strong electrical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills
• Experience with heavy-duty diesel engines
• Own hand tools required
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, not required)
• Ability to work independently and diagnose complex issues
