Pay Rate:$22.00/hour
Shift:2:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday - Friday
Location:Worcester, MA
Additional Note:Math assessment required

Job Summary

We are seeking a Molderto support the production of abrasive products. This position uses hydraulic, robotic, and manual presses and molding equipment to compact materials and form basic product shapes according to specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Operate hydraulic, robotic, and manual presses or molding equipment.
  • Mold and form basic product shapes.
  • Use measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and a tamping gun.
  • Perform initial one-point density tests on molded pieces.
  • Check products for proper tolerances and conformance to specifications.
  • Apply appropriate molding, pressing, and finishing techniques.
  • Identify basic differences among molding materials, mixes, and product characteristics.
  • Follow established procedures and safety requirements.
Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of molding materials and product characteristics.
  • Understanding of basic pressing and finishing techniques.
  • Experience using measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools is helpful.
  • Ability to learn molding processes and operate production equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to perform basic measurements and density testing.
