FSQA Technician

As FSQA Technician at our Lincoln facility, you protect consumers and customer brands every shift by verifying processes, catching issues early, and keeping our cold-chain operations audit-ready.
Performance Objectives
- Complete pre-operational and in-process inspections plus microbiological sampling on every production run so 100% of lots meet USDA, FDA, and customer specifications.
- Document deviations and hold product within 30 minutes; partner with production to close root-cause actions before the next shift.
- Verify HPP cycle parameters, hold times, and sanitation records for each vessel load, preventing any unreleased product from shipping.
- Train and coach associates on GMPs and allergen controls, driving zero critical non-conformances on internal and third-party audits.
- Maintain accurate, legible records and communicate status to USDA, QA, and operations so every customer order leaves on time and in spec.
Environment & Resources
You report to the FSQA Supervisor and work alongside production leads, USDA inspectors, and a growing QA team across eight U.S. sites. You’ll use standard lab and handheld tools in a 35°ree;F wet production environment. Allergen-containing products are processed on site.
Essential Qualifications
- High-school diploma/GED and 1+ year food-manufacturing QA or sanitation experience (HPP or USDA-inspected preferred).
- Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and basic microbiology sampling.
- Ability to stand 8–12 hours, lift 35 lbs repeatedly, and work in 35°ree;F wet conditions.
- Clear written and verbal English communication plus proven attendance and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to cover multiple shifts and support changeovers with production and USDA.
