$25–$45/hour | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Weekends

Bendall Auto Service is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician / Virginia State Inspector for our Yorktown, VA shop.

We’re looking for a dependable, experienced technician with a current Virginia State Inspection License who takes pride in doing quality work and works well as part of a team.

This position is primarily focused on Virginia State Safety Inspections, routine maintenance, and general automotive service and repair. Advanced diagnostics and heavy engine repair are not required for this position.

Pay & Benefits

• $25–$45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No weekends
• Full-time, stable schedule

Responsibilities

• Perform Virginia State Safety Inspections
• Routine maintenance and preventative maintenance
• Oil and filter changes
• Brake inspection, service, and repair
• Tire and related services
• Alignments
• Steering and suspension inspection and basic repair
• General vehicle inspections
• Identify needed repairs and clearly document findings
• Maintain a clean and professional work area

Qualifications

• Current Virginia State Inspection License required
• At least 3 years of automotive repair/service experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional attitude
• Commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work well with others

Experience with advanced diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, A/C systems, or more involved mechanical repairs is a plus and may be considered when determining compensation, but these skills are not required.
