About the Role:
As an Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating a wide range of activities and events that promote socialization, engagement, and overall well-being among our residents. Your creativity, enthusiasm, and ability to connect with others will make a significant impact on our community.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement a variety of activities, including games, arts and crafts, fitness classes, outings, and entertainment events that cater to diverse interests and abilities
• Collaborate with residents, family members, and staff to identify and fulfill activity preferences and interests
• Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations and vendors to secure resources and support for activities
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making recommendations for improvement and expansion
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records of activities and participant engagement
• Participate in community events and functions to promote the Promenade at Middletown and enhance our reputation
