Job Description
HiFyve is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee the overall performance of a food or beverage manufacturing facility. This role will lead plant operations, develop department leaders, manage financial performance, and drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead overall plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, warehouse, shipping, and safety
- Drive plant KPIs related to safety, quality, productivity, service, and cost
- Manage plant budgets, expenses, P&L performance, and capital projects
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, sanitation, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Lead, coach, and develop plant managers and supervisors
- Oversee customer, corporate, and regulatory audits
- Improve equipment utilization, operational efficiency, and overall plant performance
Requirements
- 8+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing
- 2+ years of management experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience managing plant budgets, costs, and operational KPIs
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and continuous improvement
- Understanding of food safety, GMP, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
