Clinical Director

Weber Recovery Center is a privately operated behavioral health organization serving adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Programs include medically supported and clinically managed residential treatment, step-down and outpatient services, and supportive living. Care is delivered by an interdisciplinary team of licensed clinicians, nurses, physicians, case managers, and trained paraprofessionals using a person-centered plan of care.

The Clinical Director will lead and oversee clinical operations within a medium-sized outpatient behavioral health and mental health clinic. This role involves moderate direct patient care involvement while managing a team of 11-30 staff members. The Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care coordination, compliance with regulatory standards, and continuous quality improvement using tools such as the Kipu electronic health record system.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and strategic leadership for the outpatient behavioral health team
• Manage and evaluate clinical staff performance and development
• Coordinate patient care to ensure effective treatment plans and outcomes
• Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies
• Implement quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and update clinical policies and procedures
• Lead training and professional development programs for clinical staff
• Facilitate collaboration across departments to optimize service delivery
• Drive strategic planning to meet organizational goals
• Evaluate overall clinic performance and implement corrective actions as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in clinical management roles
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Certified Mental Health Counselor (CMHC)
• Expertise in healthcare management, clinical operations, and regulatory compliance
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on quality improvement
• Proficient in conflict resolution, communication, and problem-solving
