Electro Mechanical Assembler

Pay rate: $20.00 - 22.00

Description:

Job Code: 82140311 The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues. * Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures. * Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products. * Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies. * Create labor records for all transactions. * Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

2 Years Electro-mechanical assembler experience

Minimum High School degree, Higher technical education preferred

IPC 610 or IPC 620 is a plus but not required

Key Skills/abilities

• Mechanically inclined individual
• Able to use mechanical and electric test equipment such as meters, microscope, torque wrenches, filler gages, etc.
• Soldering capabilities on cabling, thru hole and surface mount technologies.
• Able to work with high precision small parts
• Able to follow procedures and processes is a must
• Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Good communication skills is a must
• Must possess the ability to multi-task
