Assembler – Continental 11-Hour Shifts
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring Assemblers for our client in the Florence, KY area. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with 11-hour continental shifts.
Pay & Schedule
401A – 1st Shift | $18.00/hr
Sunday–Tuesday + every other Wednesday
5:00 AM–4:30 PM OR 6:00 AM–5:30 PM
402B – 3rd Shift | $20.70/hr
Sunday–Tuesday + every other Wednesday
5:00 PM–4:30 AM OR 6:00 PM–5:30 AM
403C – 1st Shift | $18.00/hr
Thursday–Saturday + every other Wednesday
5:00 AM–4:30 PM OR 6:00 AM–5:30 PM
404D – 3rd Shift | $20.70/hr
Thursday–Saturday + every other Wednesday
5:00 PM–4:30 AM OR 6:00 PM–5:30 AM
Note: Final shift time will be provided on the first day.
Job Responsibilities
As an Assembler, you will:
- Manually place and assemble components on circuit boards using detailed instructions and visual aids.
- Perform repetitive electronic assembly operations.
- Visually inspect components for proper placement, insertion, and quality.
- Use barcode scanners and small hand tools.
- Properly label, handle, and organize components and finished assemblies.
- Monitor and restock parts bins as needed.
- Maintain accurate production and progress records.
- Follow established safety, quality, security, and production procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S standards.
- Work effectively under the direction of manufacturing supervisors and line management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read and understand simple written instructions and correspondence.
- Ability to follow basic one- or two-step instructions.
- Basic math skills, including whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, and ratios.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand continuously throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to lift cartons above shoulder level, up to approximately 8 feet.
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, kneel, climb, crouch, crawl, push, pull, and stoop.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
