We are hiring an experienced Mill-Turn Setup Machinist to join a growing precision manufacturing operation supporting complex, tight-tolerance components.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, work instructions, and CNC programs
  • Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding
  • Produce and inspect first-piece parts before moving into production
  • Perform in-process inspection using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
  • Make tooling and offset adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
  • Independently troubleshoot setup, tooling, and machining issues
  • Monitor production runs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and part quality

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of CNC machining/setup experience
  • Hands-on experience performing complete CNC mill-turn setups
  • Strong knowledge of tooling, feeds and speeds, offsets, workholding, and machining processes
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Experience producing and inspecting tight-tolerance precision components
  • Ability to troubleshoot machining problems independently
  • Mazak Integrex or Quick Turn experience is highly desirable
  • GibbsCAM experience is a plus

Why Consider It?

This is an opportunity for a skilled machinist who enjoys the technical, problem-solving side of machining and wants to work with sophisticated equipment in a precision manufacturing environment supporting complex tooling and medical device components.
