Why Work Here?
The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive, people-focused culture. Health coverage is designed to be affordable, including medical, dental, vision, life, and short- and long-term disability, along with accident coverage. Employer contributions to Health Savings Accounts help employees manage healthcare costs, and a generous 401(k) program includes up to a 4% match plus annual profit sharing. Employees receive 13 paid holidays per year, as well as annual safety boots and prescription safety glasses every other year. The workplace is known as a very good place to work, with many long-tenured employees and a strong emphasis on mentorship and development. Management regularly recognizes success; when production goals are met, employees may enjoy paid lunches, gift cards, or special events such as golf outings, sporting events, bowling, and other appreciation activities.
Work Environment
This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The role is based in a medium-sized manufacturing facility with approximately 60 employees across two plants and about 50–55 employees in the shop environment. The facility can be noisy at times, consistent with a typical manufacturing setting, and the assembly area can be somewhat crowded due to parts staged on the floor and around workstations. The environment is highly collaborative, with many experienced employees who bring 20+ years of knowledge and actively help train and develop newer team members. Safety is a priority, and steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses are required at all times in designated areas.
