We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong analytical skills and experience in electric distribution engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze electric distribution equipment, protective device settings, operations, and power flow.
- Interpret Smart Meter data and predictive alerts to identify and prioritize transformer and electrical line defects.
- Work with large datasets, including historical defect, inspection, and operational data, to improve model accuracy.
- Collaborate with Field Operations, Protection & Control, and Engineering teams to validate machine-learning predictions.
- Conduct detailed investigations and translate findings into actionable insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of electric distribution systems and equipment.
- Experience with distribution power-flow analysis and protective device settings.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering and field teams.
Work Arrangement:
- Local candidates only.
- 5 days onsite at the San Ramon Conference Center.
- Client laptop provided.
- PPE may be required.
- Additional monitors/docking station must be vendor-provided or personal.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this positionis$54.00 per hour.
