Finance Manager, PACE
Job Summary:
Blue Ridge Care is seeking a highly analytical and mission-driven Finance Manager, PACE to support the financial success and sustainability of our Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). This position serves as the primary finance partner for PACE operations, providing financial analysis, budgeting support, reporting, forecasting, reimbursement analysis, and operational performance monitoring.
Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly PACE-specific dashboards, financial statements, and management reports
Analyze revenue, expenses, participant census, utilization, and staffing trends
Monitor program profitability and contribution margin
Assist with month-end close activities and reconciliation processes
Support financial reporting requirements related to grants, contracts, and regulatory agencies
Monitor Medicare and Medicaid capitation revenue
Analyze reimbursement trends and revenue projections
Evaluate the financial impact of participant risk scores, enrollment changes, and utilization patterns
Monitor medical and pharmacy claims adjudication and evaluate overall TPA processes for opportunities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Minimum of three years of progressive finance or accounting experience
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Preferred:
Healthcare finance experience, preferably PACE, managed care, hospice, home health, senior care, or post-acute care
Experience working with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement models
Experience with NetSuite, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or similar financial reporting tools
Experience in nonprofit healthcare organizations
