Job Title: Payroll Analyst
Job Description
The Payroll Analyst supports end-to-end payroll operations for a large, multi-state workforce, including unionized employees. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as collective bargaining agreements, and performs detailed reconciliations and audits. The Payroll Analyst partners closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to resolve payroll issues, enhance processes, and support reporting and year-end activities.

Work Environment
This role is based in an office environment and follows a Monday through Friday schedule, typically from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The position requires working onsite and collaborating closely with HR, Finance, and Operations teams. The work involves extensive use of payroll and timekeeping systems such as Kronos and enterprise payroll platforms like ADP, Workday, SAP, or Oracle, as well as frequent use of Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis. The environment is structured, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and teamwork.
This role will start and train in Warren but may move to Milford. It may also travel to other sites/support other locations in Flint and Detroit.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Warren, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $83000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
