Assistant General Manager

We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager and help lead daily restaurant operations. This is a hands on leadership position for someone who understands both front and back of house operations and is committed to delivering an excellent guest experience.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with the General Manager to maintain strong daily operations
• Coordinate front of house and back of house teams
• Lead shifts and ensure smooth service
• Deliver excellent guest service and address customer concerns professionally
• Train, coach and develop employees
• Communicate expectations and provide performance feedback
• Monitor food and product quality
• Assist with vendors and purchasing
• Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety standards
• Help maintain a positive restaurant environment and strong guest experience
• Support operational policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant General Manager or similar leadership role
• Proven customer service and team management experience
• Strong food and beverage knowledge
• Excellent leadership, communication and people skills
• Comfortable with restaurant technology and management systems
• Experience with Toast, Paycom, HotSchedules, TripleSeat, RESY or OpenTable is a plus
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Understanding of financial tracking, analysis and planning
• Hospitality, business or culinary education is a plus
