PreK Lead Teacher

The PreK Lead Teacher plays a crucial role in providing exceptional classroom instruction and leadership within a small team of early childhood educators. Reporting to the Director, this role focuses on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth for preschool students.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom instruction and manage daily activities focused on student learning and development
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their growth
• Manage student behavior to create a positive learning environment
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities
• Supervise students during all classroom and related activities
• Collaborate effectively with a small team (1-3 teachers) to coordinate efforts and share best practices
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
• Support the social and emotional development of students within the classroom setting

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in early childhood education

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
