General Purpose of Position
Responsible for accepting, tracking and maintaining clothing donations. Sees to it that certain items are reclaimed and others disposed of.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains DL clothing room on a day-to day basis.
- Organizes clothing donations and keeps clothing area neat and orderly.
- Trains resident and volunteer workers as needed.
- Sorts clothing for DL according to gender, style and color.
- Makes sure adequate numbers of hangers are maintained in an orderly fashion.
- Maintains order and flow of volunteer groups of various sizes and ages.
- Assists in a variety of special assignments requested by the Executive Director.
