- Implement process improvements aligned with lean management principles to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate inventory control through regular audits and utilization of warehouse management systems.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety protocols during all warehouse activities, including heavy lifting and materials handling.
- Coordinate logistics activities to support distribution center operations, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of goods.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within a distribution center environment.
- Demonstrated ability to operate or oversee forklift operation and other material handling equipment safely.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, OSHA regulations, and lean management practices.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff, communicate effectively, and lead by example in a fast-paced setting.
