Warehouse Inventory Clerk

Key responsibilities

• Inventory management:
• • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Sort, organize, and store items in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
  • Update inventory management systems with real-time data on stock levels and movements.
  • Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
• Order fulfillment:
• • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
  • Label packages correctly and confirm delivery information.
• Warehouse operations:
• • Operate machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks to move and store inventory.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and hazards.
  • Handle returns and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
• Teamwork and communication:
• • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet operational goals.
  • Communicate with supervisors and other departments, such as procurement and sales, to resolve issues.
  • Assist with preparing documentation for audits.
