Job Title: Medical Device Assembler (2nd Shift)

Schedule: 2:30 PM- 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.16 an hour (paid weekly!)

Role Overview:

BEPC is seeking a detail-orientedMedical Device Assemblerto support the production of high-quality medical devices within a regulated manufacturing environment. This position performs hands-on assembly, repair, testing, and production activities involving pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies.

Working under close supervision and established procedures, the Medical Device Assembler will help ensure products meet strict quality, safety, traceability, and regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are comfortable working with small components, following detailed procedures, and maintaining a high level of accuracy in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly, repair, testing, and related production operations on medical devices and components.
• Follow written procedures, standardized work instructions, and verbal directions to complete assigned manufacturing activities.
• Handle and maneuver small components and parts with accuracy and care.
• Maintain accurate production, traveler, and quality documentation to ensure complete product and component traceability.
• Verify that relevant manufacturing documentation is accurate and current.
• Follow established safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment during all manufacturing operations.
• Identify and communicate manufacturing issues, concerns, and potential solutions to supervisors and manufacturing management.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives designed to improve production processes, product quality, and operational performance.
• Support individual and manufacturing cell performance goals and metrics.
• Apply basic Lean Manufacturing principles in day-to-day production activities.
• Utilize electronic data collection systems and applicable computer software.
• Prioritize assigned work based on production requirements, sequencing, timing, and importance.
• Maintain a professional and positive approach when interacting with internal teams and visitors.
• Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and applicable regulatory requirements and divisional initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and consistently follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
• Ability to handle and maneuver small parts and components with precision.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic data collection systems and software applications.
• Ability to maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Ability to prioritize work based on production requirements and established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a closely supervised, highly regulated manufacturing environment.
