Company Description: Whole-istic Living, LLC is a holistic nutrition and complementary alternative medicine agency that integrates clinical and holistic approaches to support whole-person health. As registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs), we offer freelance writing services, individualized 1:1 consultation, and group education to help people address behavioral and digestive health conditions with an emphasis on the gut-brain connection. We value growth-minded individuals who appreciate the role of therapeutic dietary and lifestyle modification, with a special focus on real food and herbs, in improving quality of life.

Role Description: The Nutrition Educator will provide in-person, contract-based educational support to clients and groups seeking guidance on mental and physical health conditions. Weekly responsibilities include delivering nutrition education materials with evidence-informed guidance, in-person. The role involves translating evidence-based nutrition concepts into accessible, actionable, easy-to-understanding information and resources, while fielding participant questions and collaborating with other treatment team members as needed. The Nutrition Educator will also help group participants build sustainable lifestyle habits aligned with holistic, nature-based approaches and maintain accurate documentation of educational interactions.

Commitment: One day (~7 to 8 hours) per week

Qualifications:

  • Must be a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and licensed dietitian (LD) in the state of Texas.
  • Experience in Nutrition Education and Nutritional Counseling, particularly for behavioral and digestive health-related conditions.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, inclusive, and supportive language.
  • Demonstrated interest in functional nutrition and herbal medicine.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to non-discriminatory, culturally responsive care.
  • Strong organizational skills, good punctuality (able to meet deadlines consistently, without compromising quality of work), reliability in managing a contract schedule, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be trustworthy and of high integrity.
