Reports to: Program Director

The primary responsibility of the Program Manager is tocreate and perpetuate aculture of excellence, compassion and integrityin the delivery of service to ourparticipants.Reporting to the Program Director, the Program Manager will oversee all operational aspects of multiple homes,sitesor services,not onlyensuring compliance to all applicable regulations andrequirements, but also promoting an environment that constantly strives to elevate.

Job Duties Include:

  • Representingthe Mission, Vision and Values of AMA Support Services through action and presentation
  • Creating a culture of high professional and ethical standard, where dignity, respect, inclusion,integrityand compassion are the standard
  • Overseeing all aspects ofservice delivery within theservice andprogramto ensure the health, safety,welfareand personal development of those we supportin all settings
  • Striving to deliver the highest level of quality in the delivery of services as outlined in the ISP
  • Create structured and nurturing homeand/or serviceenvironment thatresponds to andmeets the needs and preferences of theindividual participants
  • Ensure thatall authorized services are delivered as prescribedin the person’s ISP
  • Work in conjunction with othersto promoteand maximizecommunity integrationin an effort tobuild interest, develop skills,andcultivatebelonging
  • Create a culture that promotes the attainment of goals andobjectives, and that encourages personal growth and independencethrough the development of creative and innovative strategies
  • Ensure compliance to all applicable regulations and requirements
  • Overseeservices and planning foreach participant to ensure that individualneeds are metand that services are delivered, as prescribed and in line with the Individual Support Planand service parameters
  • Superviseand directtheday to dayactivities ofall program employees
  • Develop and deliver training programs toincreasetheknowledge andrequiredskill oftheemployees providing direct support to our individuals
  • Design individualized support programs to meet the needs of each person in service
  • Monitor,scheduleand deliver staff trainings in line with all applicable regulations and requirements
  • Monitor all documentation related to service delivery, including all periodic reports, to ensure compliance to all applicable regulations and requirements
  • Facilitate andparticipatein support and service-relatedmeetings, and contribute to the support team process by providing information, makingrecommendationsand promoting collaboration
  • Ifappropriate totheservicedelivered, scheduling,coordinatingand overseeing the delivery ofall necessary health servicesto meet the ongoing physical health needs ofeach individualwho requires it
  • Develop strategies to promote safety and to prevent incidents, and respond to any incidents that may occur in line with regulations and requirements
  • Build andcultivate a support network and a sense of belonging between the individuals and community members
  • Ensure all service records are thorough, complete,accurateand compliant to all requirements and regulations
  • Audit service delivery documentation to ensure that it meets billable standards and prepare billing records for submission
  • Manage individual and company funds, including making and recording transactions according to policy, procedure and regulation andoperatingwithin a budget

Required Education:

  • Master’s Degree in a related field plus one year of work with persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related fieldplus 2 years’ experience working with people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
  • Associate degreeand 4 years’ experience working with people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
  • High School Diploma and more than 5years experienceworking withindividuals in the specific capacityof the serviceand program

RequiredSkills andExperience:

  • Experience developing support plans and development objectives
  • 2 years’ experience supervising or managing employees
  • Knowledge and understanding ofrelatedindustry regulations (Chapter 6400,PA 51, HIPAA,FLSA,Service Definitions, ODP Bulletins,etc.)
  • Excellent oral,writtenand interpersonal Communication skills
