Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support our client on a temporary basis. This role will play a key part in month-end close activities, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Analyze financial data and investigate account discrepancies
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
  • Assist with audit requests and documentation preparation
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and GAAP standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA designation or CPA candidacy preferred
  • Experience supporting audits and financial statement preparation
  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, or professional services environments is a plus
Pay Details: $38.00 to $49.00 per hour
