What You'll Do
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the facility
- Develop and maintain a structured maintenance schedule to minimize production downtime
- Analyze equipment history and failure trends to optimize maintenance strategies
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians, shift leads, and production teams to align maintenance windows with operational needs
- Maintain and manage the CMMS system work orders, parts inventory, maintenance records, and KPI tracking
- Source parts and coordinate with vendors/suppliers for materials and equipment needs
- Support root cause analysis on recurring equipment issues (APV machines, mixers, and similar food processing equipment)
- Ensure documentation and compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 5+ years of solid, hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment
- Prior experience in a Maintenance Supervisor role
- Prior experience as a Maintenance Planner
- Strong understanding of electrical AND mechanical systems
- Experience with APV machines, mixer machines, or similar food processing equipment
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with maintenance, production, and operations teams
Preferred:
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency with CMMS maintenance software (planning/scheduling modules)
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
