Dispatcher

Looking for a multi-tasking dispatcher. The position would be facilitating LTL and Truckloads to the drivers after the planner assigns the freight. We are an owner operator semi fleet of about 60 drivers. We handle special products and tradeshows and offer white glove delivery. WE ARE NOT HAULING GENERAL FREIGHT!!! The dispatcher would have an assigned group of drivers and once the orders are assigned the dispatcher is responsible for the load from beginning to end , this includes system updating, customer update and getting paperwork turned in for billing to get driver paid.. On top of dispatching a large part of our customer base books directly with the planner and dispatch team, so the dispatcher while working with their core of drivers also needs to have a customer service ability. While 90 % of the freight we haul is booked by our direct customers there is also an opportunity of working the DAT boards for driver relocation. Having that ability would certainly help.
