Job Description
We are seeking aMechanicSpecialistto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automotivediagnostics, call center-based technical support, and customer serviceand a proven ability toresolve complex repair concerns, drive timely ticket closure, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound calls and tickets from Dealer Technicians and provide technical diagnostic direction.
- Apply a defined six-step diagnostic process to resolveautomotiveconcerns.
- Research and apply product and repair information using internal databases and tools.
- Perform follow-ups on open tickets to ensure resolution and closure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of hands-onautomotiverepair experience OR a Bachelor's Degree OR a Technical Trade School Certificate with internship or similar experience.
- Proficiency with diagnostic and repair tools and Dealer information software.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a technical support environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with electrification technologies (EV, PHEV, Hybrid).
- AutomotiveService Excellence (ASE) Certification.
- Understanding of advanced diagnostic processes andautomotivesystems.
- Familiarity with Stellantis North America product lines and technical resources.
