EHC is looking for a Painter/Blaster in the Conroe Area for s Client

*NO EDUCATION REQUIRED*

DURATION: 3-MONTH ASSIGNMENT WITH THE POSSIBILITY TO CONVERT TO DIRECT HIRE (NOT GUARANTEED)

SCHEDULE: 6:00 AM TO 6:00 PM (MONDAY - FRIDAY) WITH 8 HOURS ON SATURDAYS

- RELIABLE/DEPENDABLE

- PREVIOUS SANDBLAST EXPERIENCE (MUST BE SHOWN ON RESUME)

- PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE USING 2-PART EPOXY PAINT (MUST BE SHOWN ON RESUME)

JOB ROLE: Sandblast/Prep/Paint equipment

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Painting applications, duties include, but are not limited to:

- Preparation of paint equipment and paint.

- Preparation of equipment surfaces to be painted by means of sandblasting, hand sanding, and taping, pneumatic hand operated sanders or grinding apparatus.

- Movement of material and equipment to staging areas as needed using an overhead crane.

- Apply primer and paint per specs

2. Must be willing to cross-train into other areas as required to meet production schedules and or manufacturing needs.

3. Capable of operating an overhead crane.

4. Must be willing to work in an on-the-job-training status for the first two to three weeks of employment.

5. Must be able to work and stay on your feet for more than 8 hours daily and on weekends as required.

6. Must be able to work in a non-controlled climate - i.e. no air conditioning in the plant.

7. All employees are required to assist in plant housekeeping. Including, but not limited to - sweeping, emptying trash barrels, proper storage of chemicals, etc.

8. Must follow all safety and environmental policies and programs; must be able to use personal safety devices as required by company policy; report any activities that could be detrimental to safety and/or the loss of productivity; report any injuries when they occur
