SAND BLASTER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for aSand Blasterfor a company based in Columbus,MS. Inthisrole, you willprimarilybe responsible forpreparing various metal surfaces using a variety of abrasive blasting equipment including but not limited to traditional, plastic media, steel shot, and glass bead blasting.
Pay Rate
$16.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 800 am to 500 pm.
Sand BlasterDuties and Responsibilities
•Blasts metal surfaces clean to prepare them for paint applications
•Grinds, sands, cleans or polishes objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing using hand tools and power tools
•Moves controls to adjust, start, or stop equipment during blasting or grindingprocesses
•Observes machine operations to detect any problems, making necessary adjustments to correct problems
•Moves levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts to lift beams, load, unload,transportor stack materials
Sand BlasterQualificationsandRequirements
•1 year of blasting experiencepreferred
•Ability to use hand tools, small power tools, test equipment and willingness to learn
•50 poundlift assessment
