Diesel Mechanic – Trash CompanyWe are looking for a
dependable Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of garbage trucks and other company vehicles and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and mechanical problems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
- Repair brakes, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair garbage truck hydraulic and compactor systems.
- Complete oil changes, tire repairs, and general maintenance.
- Keep trucks safe, reliable, and ready for daily routes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
- Diesel mechanic or heavy-truck repair experience preferred.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and air brake systems.
- Must be dependable and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license required.
- CDL is a plus.
