Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee and maintain assigned client projects. The role involves coordinating with our Sales Department regarding incoming projects and interfacing directly with clients to resolve any queries or issues. The Project Manager will be responsible for preparing or directing the preparation of bottle orders, activating contingent analysis as requested by clients, and prioritizing samples and/or reports based on client needs.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the Sales Department for incoming projects.
  • Interface with clients to address questions or resolve problems.
  • Prepare or oversee preparation of bottle orders.
  • Activate contingent analysis as per client requests.
  • Prioritize samples and reports based on client requirements.
  • Interact with Supervisors for rush requests, problem resolution, and client questions.
  • Maintain records of all projects for proper documentation and retrieval.
  • Review Login Reports for accuracy.
  • Serve as backup for transmitting data to clients.
  • Provide support for the Subcontract Assist Department as needed.
  • Assist Vice Presidents of Customer Service and Sales, as well as Account Managers.
  • Act as the primary customer contact from project set-up through post-project follow-up.
  • Be proficient in creating client profiles and logging in samples.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in project management within a laboratory or environmental setting.
  • Understanding of chemistry, quality control, and environmental science.
  • Proficient in sampling and handling environmental samples.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in a science-related field is preferred but not required with a degree in Environmental Science or Life Science.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the environmental industry may be substituted for a degree.
  • Experience working within an environmental lab or field testing is highly desirable.
Work Environment

The Project Manager will work in a dynamic environment that involves coordinating with various departments and interfacing with clients. The role may require working in a laboratory or field testing environment, focusing on quality control and environmental science practices. Flexibility in managing multiple tasks and effective communication skills are key to success in this position.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Laurel, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $26.44/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
