Job Summary:
Responsible for providing drink service in the outlet while ensuring guests are properly served and ensuring all policies and procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain all special promotions.
- Take orders, reciting selection of all call and premium brands as requested, requires memorization of all available drinks.
- Input orders into point-of-sale system to inform bartender an order was placed.
- Replenish beverages as requested, frequently checking back with guests to inquire about satisfaction.
- Deliver beverages accurately to patrons while ensuring proper payment.
- Check and maintain proper setup and cleanliness of service station before, during and after shift.
- Always maintain cleanliness of guest areas including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtrays.
- Confirm age compliance by checking the identification of any individual ordering alcoholic beverages.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions.
- Basic math skills specific to position responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to obtain a Wyoming Gaming Commission work permit.
Education and Experience:
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Able certification
- One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
