WeareseekingatechnicallymindedIndustrial Equipment Estimatorwithexperienceinmanufacturing,industrialequipment,mechanicalsystems,materialhandling,orengineeredproductstoreviewcustomerspecifications,developequipmentsolutions,preparequotations,andmanageprojectsthroughcompletion.
Thispositionrequiressomeonecomfortableusingtheirowntechnicaljudgmenttodetermineprojectdesignanddirection.
KeyResponsibilities
- Reviewspecifications,drawings,biddocuments,andcustomerrequirementstodetermineproject scope.
- Workdirectlywithcustomerstoclarifytechnicalrequirementsanddevelopappropriatesolutions.
- Determineprojectdesign,equipment,materials,labor,andoverallprojectdirection.
- Prepareaccurateestimates,quotations,proposals,andprojectpricing.
- Independentlymanageawardedprojectsfromquotethroughcompletionandcloseout.
- Serveastheprimarycustomercontactforassignedprojects.
- Coordinatewithengineering,manufacturing,technicians,vendors,andsubcontractors.
- Manageschedules,purchasing,materials,documentation,andprojectchanges.
- Monitorprojectcosts,timelines,quality,andcustomerexpectations.
- Maintainaccurateestimatingandprojectrecords.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in estimating, project management, or project engineering within manufacturing, industrial equipment, material handling, machinery, mechanical systems, automation, engineered products, fabrication, or industrial services required
- Experienceinterpretingtechnicalspecifications,drawings,blueprints,andbiddocuments.
- Experiencepreparingestimates,quotations,proposals,orprojectpricing.
- Strongmechanicalaptitudeandunderstandingofindustrialequipment,machinery,manufacturing,ormechanicalsystems.
- Abilitytoevaluatetechnicalrequirementsandindependentlydevelopprojectsolutions.
- Experiencemanagingprojectsfrominitialscopethroughcompletion.
- Strongcustomer-facingcommunicationandrelationship-buildingskills.
- Experiencecoordinatingwithvendors,techniciansandmanufacturingteams.
- FamiliaritywithERP,CRM,estimating,,orprojectmanagementsoftware.
- ProficiencywithMicrosoftOffice,includingExcel,Word,Outlook,andTeams.
- Stronganalytical,organizational,andproblem-solvingskillswithexcellentattentiontodetail.
