Position Summary:
The Home Health Director is a key position in healthcare, responsible for managing home healthcare services. This role ensures that patients receive high-quality care while coordinating the activities of the healthcare team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the performance and development of healthcare staff.
- Create and implement policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.
- Oversee financial aspects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Adhere to healthcare regulations and standards to maintain quality care.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care for patients.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of services and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure patient satisfaction and address concerns regarding care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and patients.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act.
- Relevant experience in home health care or clinical settings is required.
