Manufacturing Manager Position Overview:

Specialty chemical manufacturer for the metal finishing, automotive, and fiber industries seeks a Manufacturing Manager for its Greenville SC location. Experience in manufacturing processes or chemical production would be beneficial. This is a full time position with paid vacation, company benefits, and paid holidays.

Desired Objectives:

  1. Increase Production Efficiency
  2. Obtain zero pounds of non-conforming product on site.
  3. Inventory reduction
  4. Process improvements

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Daily Production Schedules
  2. Manage Raw material and finish goods inventories
  3. Oversee plant safety program
  4. Packaging materials inventory
  5. Non-conforming inventory reduction
  6. Manage ISO9001:2008 Quality System
  7. Assist with Quality Control
  8. Handle all facility maintenance
  9. Batch production
  10. Training requirements for plant employees

Recommended Qualifications:

  • Four year degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of chemical manufacturing or laboratory experience.
  • General computer skills.
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills.
  • Strong motivator and good leadership skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes involving the use of chemistry.
  • ISO auditor training
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
