Job Description
We are seeking a Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial machine operation and process control and a proven ability to follow standardized work, make basic machine adjustments, and meet production and quality targets.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repetitive machine or process operations per prescribed routines.
- Follow directions and perform basic adjustments to processes or machinery.
- Operate manufacturing equipment, including Block Room Operator equipment.
- Record and report production numbers accurately and timely.
- Comply with all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Effective communication in one-on-one and group situations.
- Ability to understand, record, and verbalize detailed information accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability.
- Basic math skills and solid interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of and compliance with all safety guidelines.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Steel-toed shoes required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Familiarity with production reporting and basic machine troubleshooting.
Work Environment & Physical Conditions:
- Exposure to industrial conditions including noise, dust, heat, or cold.
- No routine lifting over 50 lbs required.
- No forklift, tractor, vehicle, or manlift operation required.
