What You'll Do

• Prep and maintain the quantities of ingredients needed for our salads, sandwiches and bowls
• Chop, slice, portion and prep with consistency and attention to detail
• Follow recipes and prep lists to keep the kitchen stocked and ready for service
• Keep your workspace clean, organized and up to food safety standards at all times
• Communicate with the team to anticipate needs and stay ahead of the rush
• Jump in wherever the kitchen needs you

What You Bring

• A passion for precision and a high standard for quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 35 lbs
• Reliability and a positive, team-first attitude
• Prior prep or kitchen experience a plus but we'll train the right person!

Our Story

Urbane Cafe is a family-owned company founded by Tom Holt, with locations across Southern California and Nevada and more on the way. Every day, we make our focaccia dough from scratch and bake it fresh in open-hearth ovens, right in front of our guests. We craft gourmet sandwiches, farm fresh salads and unique bowls using refined local ingredients all served with a smile in a warm, vibrant atmosphere.
