This is a first-shift position, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM. Starting pay $27.00-30.00/hr per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth and advancement
What You'll Doas a Lathe Operator:
- Maintain a safe work environment and keep work area clean and organized
- Set up, adjust, and operate CNC Lathe machine tools and many specialized or advanced variations of tools topreformprecision machining
- Manage daily operations to include cutting rolls, spray welding roll passes, overseeing lathe maintenance/tooling and inventory
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for each job
- Ability to recall specifics, methods, and processes
- Perform additional duties as needed
ExperienceYou'll Needas a Lathe Operator:
- Experience workingwithDainichi Lathes & LeBlond Lathes
- Dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet needs
- Must be able to learn quickly and multitask
- Ability to stand for duration of a shift, up to 12 hours; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the shift
