Sales Development Representative (Telemarketer)

As a Sales Development Representative, you will make outbound calls to prospective customers, identify individuals who are interested in receiving an insurance quote, and qualify their needs. Your primary goal is to keep interested prospects engaged on the phone and immediately connect them with one of our licensed Sales Associates through a warm transfer.

Your success will be measured by the number of quality conversations, qualified opportunities, and live transfers.

• Make a high volume of outbound calls to prospective customers.
• Build rapport and create a positive first impression of our agency.
• Introduce our insurance products and services in a friendly, professional manner.
• Ask qualifying questions to identify customer needs.
• Keep interested prospects engaged and perform a warm transfer to a licensed Sales Advisor whenever possible.
• Schedule follow-up appointments only when a qualified prospect cannot speak with an advisor immediately.
• Follow up with prospects through phone calls, text messages, and email when appropriate.
• Accurately document customer interactions in our CRM.
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals for outbound calls, conversations, qualified leads, and live transfers.
• Represent the agency with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity.
