Position Overview
The Assembler is responsible for the assembly and production of high-reliability electronic power conversion products used in defense, aerospace, and industrial applications. This position performs mechanical assembly, wire harness assembly, wiring, soldering, and inspection activities in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, IPC standards, and Aegis Power Systems quality requirements.
The Assembler is expected to maintain a high level of workmanship, attention to detail, and consistency while following established manufacturing and safety procedures. Successful individuals in this role demonstrate reliability, quality awareness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently once trained. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work are essential to success in this position.

Training & Certification
Aegis invests in employee development by providing job-specific training and opportunities to earn industry-recognized certifications. Employees in this role will receive applicable training, which may include IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, ESD requirements, and additional certifications based on position and customer requirements.
Work Environment
This position operates primarily within an electronics manufacturing and production environment. Employees are expected to follow all applicable safety, ESD, quality, and manufacturing procedures while working with electronic components, tools, equipment, and production materials.
U.S. Person Requirement
Due to the nature of Aegis Power Systems’ work and applicable U.S. export control regulations, this position requires the individual to qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations.
