You will be part of an engineering and construction team supporting semiconductor manufacturing facilities and infrastructure projects. This role works closely with project managers, contractors, engineers, and facility teams to support the planning, design, and execution of construction projects in a highly technical manufacturing environment.
Why This Role MattersAs a Civil Engineer, you play a key role in supporting the development and expansion of semiconductor facilities. Your work helps ensure site infrastructure, construction activities, and engineering solutions meet project requirements while maintaining quality, safety, schedule, and operational standards.
What You’ll Do• Develop and review civil engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Support site development, grading, drainage, utilities, foundations, and facility infrastructure projects
• Coordinate civil construction activities with project managers, contractors, facility teams, and other engineering disciplines
• Conduct site visits, field assessments, inspections, and measurements
• Review construction activities for compliance with engineering plans, specifications, codes, and project requirements
• Support construction planning, scheduling, and coordination for semiconductor facility projects
• Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other technical project documentation
• Identify field issues and provide practical engineering solutions
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, structural, and facilities teams to resolve project requirements
• Support permitting, inspections, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor project progress and communicate technical updates to project stakeholders
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable safety, quality, and site requirements
• Experience in civil engineering, construction, or facility/infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of site development, utilities, grading, drainage, and construction practices
• Experience working with engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, project teams, and multiple engineering disciplines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly technical manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, construction, or facility/infrastructure projects
• Semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, industrial, or high-tech facility experience preferred
• PE license or eligibility preferred
