Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Installer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Installer to join our team in the Phoenix area. The ideal candidate will have 4–5+ years of commercial construction experience with a strong background in HVAC sheet metal installation. This position requires someone who can work efficiently on commercial job sites while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems
- Layout, fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork according to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, and construction drawings
- Install fittings, dampers, grilles, registers, and other HVAC components
- Measure, cut, bend, and modify sheet metal as needed
- Seal and insulate ductwork as required
- Coordinate with HVAC technicians, pipefitters, electricians, and other trades
- Follow project schedules and maintain productivity on the job site
- Follow OSHA and company safety requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- 4–5+ years of commercial construction experience
- Strong commercial HVAC sheet metal installation experience
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans and blueprints
- Knowledge of commercial ductwork installation and sheet metal practices
- Experience using common sheet metal tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be available to start ASAP
Compensation
- $25–$35/hour, DOE
- Full-time, steady commercial construction work
- Overtime opportunities based on project needs
- Pay based on experience and skill level
