Experienced Paraprofessionals Needed
Location: Wilmington
Employment Type: Full-time school-year paraprofessionals; multiple positions available
What you’ll do
- Provide direct instructional and behavioral support to students with special needs in classroom and pull-out settings.
- Implement individualized instruction and assist with daily living and social skills as required by IEPs.
- Collect and report objective data, follow behavior plans, and communicate with supervising teacher/therapist.
- Support inclusion by assisting students during general education activities and transitions.
Must-have qualifications - Delaware Paraprofessional Certification
- Professional, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in specialized programs (e.g., autism, life skills, behavior intervention).
- Training/certifications in positive behavior support, CPI or similar de-escalation techniques.
