About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Lead to support a manufacturing operation by leading a maintenance team, improving equipment reliability, and helping drive a safe, productive workplace.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, developing employees, and serving as the go-to technical resource on the plant floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support maintenance technicians
- Prioritize and assign daily maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot and oversee repairs on production equipment
- Support preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production and other departments
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation
- Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of leadership experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing
- Strong troubleshooting experience in mechanical and electrical systems
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic, motor controls, and PLC-controlled equipment
- Experience supervising maintenance personnel and coordinating daily work activities
- Strong communication and coaching skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PLC software experience
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Auto CAD experience
- Experience developing maintenance procedures and tracking maintenance metrics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
