Position Details:-
- Title: Plumbing Designer/Engineer
- Location:100% onsite, Austin, TX
- Hours:50 hrs/week
- Duration:6 months contract to hire
- Pay Range: $50 - $55 per hour
Required Skills:-
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the design of Plumbing Systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends and best practices, including experience with load analysis and engineering calculation software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
- Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including IPC, UPC, IBC, IMC, ASPE standards, LEED water efficiency requirements, and NFPA codes.
- Proven experience delivering plumbing engineering services from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Strong proficiency in 3D BIM design tools, particularly Revit MEP; experience with Revit MEP fabrication and spool drawing production preferred.
- Proficient in industry-standard coordination and documentation tools, including Revit MEP Fabrication, AutoCAD, Revizto, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
