CNC Programmer

The CNC Programmer will specialize in programming laser machines to optimize manufacturing processes, primarily focusing on sheet metal components. This role involves integrating CAD/CAM software with CNC programming and supporting lean manufacturing initiatives. The programmer will work closely with the production team on a daily basis, contributing to continuous improvement and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up laser CNC machines for production runs
• Integrate CAD/CAM data with CNC programming processes
• Develop and optimize CNC programs tailored to sheet metal fabrication
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow and reduce waste
• Collaborate daily with production team members to ensure alignment and troubleshoot issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC programming
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software platforms (other specified software)
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Effective communication skills for daily team interaction
