We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to lead day-to-day accounting operations and provide reliable financial insight for the business in Brunswick, Ohio. This role combines hands-on accounting leadership with financial analysis, requiring someone who can maintain accurate reporting, reinforce sound controls, and create structure in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while guiding accounting processes that support informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee general ledger activity and review accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, highlighting trends and key findings for leadership review.
• Manage account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to maintain the integrity of financial data.
• Review and approve journal entries while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards.
• Strengthen internal controls by evaluating existing procedures and implementing improvements where needed.
• Coordinate audit preparation and serve as a primary contact for external auditors during financial statement reviews.
• Partner with business leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support strategic decision-making.• Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting operations in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures, general ledger management, and account reconciliation.
• Experience preparing journal entries and producing accurate financial statements.
• Familiarity with financial statement audits and supporting audit documentation requests.
• Ability to work independently, organize priorities, and bring structure to a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of internal controls and best practices in accounting operations.
• Background that includes both accounting execution and financial analysis is strongly preferred.
