Data Analyst

- Compensation: $27.00–$27.75/hour

Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to support operations within a new automated warehouse environment. This role will analyze warehouse, inventory, and operational data to identify trends, improve efficiency, monitor performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Analyze warehouse and Warehouse Management System (WMS) data to monitor operational performance.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators for warehouse operations.
- Track inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, productivity, throughput, and equipment performance.
- Identify trends, process issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with warehouse, operations, IT, and automation teams to investigate data discrepancies and operational problems.
- Validate WMS data and support accurate inventory and transaction reporting.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data and performance analysis.
- Automate recurring reports and data processes where possible.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and operational teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Excel and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with reporting and dashboard tools such as Power BI.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Experience with warehouse operations or inventory management.
- Experience with automated material-handling systems.
